About the Site

Lynefield Park has a strong industrial heritage, once home to Rio Tinto Alcan, an aluminium smelter which employed hundreds of people at its height. 120 acres of development land are available, 48 acres of which are greenfield. The site can extend up to 260 acres and potentially further with adjacent land owned by The Crown Estate.

“We set up the business here because Northumberland offers everything that the company needs to grow in terms of infrastructure, skills and support from local authorities. The site on Lynefield Park provided plenty of space and the location is well connected to the UK’s trunk road network making movement of goods easy and efficient. The business has also been able to tap into a strong local work force.”
